Susie McHale

Formally trained in Interior Design, working in the new home builder and model home industry, Susie makes her home in the beautiful foothills of Southern California. She is happily married and is helping to raise a beautiful 17 year old step daughter.

Besides making crafts, her other hobbies include, golfing, country music and playing with her newly adopted kitten.

Crafting has always been an outlet to her creativity and relaxation. She finds she's most happy making crafts, taking photos and generally just being out in nature.
Her inspiration comes from trees, leaves, texture and serenity.

Susie is passionate about nature and looks forward to her next inspiration!

FEATURED INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT - HICKS HOUSE - CORONA, CA

The Hicks home was completed in January 2010 after almost a year of design and construction.

Their home is a blend of traditional and contemporary finishes that create a unique and beautiful home. We used many recycled, sustainable, and  energy efficient materials including the roof, flooring, fixtures and many finishes.

My favorite part of this project is that we used materials that were within their budget and purchased locally in ways that made the home look more expensive than it actually was. Detailed design and architectural elements give each space a ton of personality.

The Hicks' original home was lost in a fire in 2008 and the new home was built on their original homesite. They were able to save just a few things such as a large Kincade painting and their daughter's ice skating trophys.
